the mekong river rose and vientiane became a flooding city last year. that was very serious flooding since 1966 and that was 1st time flooding since the Lao Pdr has found.
in 2009, we probably think that the october is the end of rainy season, we don't have no more rainfall during the boat racing  festival and after. but it was before that we can believe, now it s different and the climate probably changing year by year. the weather in Laos will become hotter place on summer and we probably don't have a warm weather anymore, it 's hot in a whole year.

now it's time to think about where to building the house and think about where is the good place to live. Mekong river is rising after heavy rain in  china and around area, china dam drains water when the dam is almost full in the Yunnan province, this is very serious for people who live along the river in laos, thailand, cambodia and myanmar.

2008 flooded in vientiane and now the government starts to build the dike, but how long and how good?

the government needs to consider to build the dike at a low place such as bolikamxay ,khammuan thakek and savanakhet and other southern laos cities

2009, the typhoon called ketsana brought big rain and wind to philiphine and caused hundreds of people died and homeless, thats terrible for  victims and after hitting the Phillipine , ketsana hit combodia, myanmar and laos which brough to  laos a big flooding and causes 24 died and thoundsands of people homepless and animal, cultivation so on are damaged and lost, what the fucck wrong with weather and nature?

2010 no one can predict that how many typhoon or starm will hit laos, but  our people should think about to fight aganst the disaster.

regards

If you ask some american or pro american, they would say it is not global warming but a global cooling and there is not scientific evidence on global warming.

cant believe they have this kind of view.

Ask those who have exploited our local environment, and natural resources to compensate the loss.

Many foreign development projects such as mining industry, hydro-power systems and textile factories are some of the fundamental causes of the so-called affects!
