Oh what are they? I haven't tried any of them yet. Are they the bamboo worms or something else?

When I was a little kid living in Lao I've never ate or seen people eating grasshoper or crickets.  We must have gotten poorer?  Or is this just our southern Lao thing?

No, I am not a luuk jao lan nai nor luuk patikan.  We were just average Lao folks.  It's not my fault that I never ate or seen people eating those - honestly.

But next time when I go to Lao I'd like to try them.  If anything it's out of curiosity.  Who knows I may like them after all.
