You should have said " Finally" rather than Finnally.  Not a big deal, pple made mistake when we are in a rush, but it made better sense when we are in the same page. OK?

Anyway, Lao will never have direct flight from VTE-Lax; or VTE-JFK for that matter or anywhere in the US.  The best they can do is direct VTE-ICN or VTE-HKG, perhaps VTE-SIN in the year 2020 when they move Lao out of poverty nation by UN.  At least that' s what Lao leaders are planning for.  It's good to have a plan.

As much as I hate laying-over in BKK bcoz I came to Lao twice a year.  There's nothing we can do about it other than paying about $7.00 for a cup of noodle which doesn't worth the taste for.

If Lao leaders have a good brain, or strong leadership I should say, we should have direct flight to US.  Consider this, America needs to get to MIA & bring them home.  They also need to repair UXO in Lao by their expertise rather than just sending the $$$ there and the job never be done.

And last of all, what this deal means is that American aircrafts can now fly over Lao Air space without asking 4 permission and better yet they can land in Lao if they have to in the emergency situation that's all.  It's free air space. So, for most of you out there, do not get excited just yet.  It will be another 20 if not 30 yrs from now b4 Lao can afford to buy boeing 777 or Airbus 330 or 747 which they can fly LAX-VTE non-stop.
That's just my thought.   OK? no harm, no foul:

I don't care as long as I don't have to stay 8hrs in thai airport I'm happy. it a shame that thai have to feed off people like that. Look at taiwan malaysia and singapore they don't go around harrassing people just to make a few bath.
