Vientiane city is not small, but it is smaller if compare to another biger city in the region, but vientiane is very cool, relaxing with no traffic jam and with its kind people.

Not yet big like neighboring country like Thailand , Vietnam, Maylasia, but in think in the future if economy boom in Lao we too will be modernize like other but I hope that we would still keep our tradition and heritage ....

It will be look nice but underground power lines are expensive(4 times the cost of overhead power line), it takes longer to fix and it's hard to control the current.

Rarely, to see Cambodia or Vietnam flag visiting Samakomlao, most of the time when I see Vietnam flag, is from Dac Lac or Hanoi, could be lao students studying there, last night I saw 4 russian flag so must be lao students in Russia visiting this website. Nearly all the time I saw USA flags.

I say Vientiane is too small . It's must be embarrassing when Vientiane stands near other capitals .

Vientiane is the biggest city in the World Have many Buddha temples. Many beautiful girls riding chinese motor bikes along the street and its not Like Thailand or Any other asian countrie. Too much hookers walking on the street looking for customer......Laos is the best.
