That french restaurant behind Vat Ongtue does the best pizza, whats-it-called? Kop Chai Der does crap pizza. Jo Ma bakery does ok gourmet pizza but its more the kind of stuff you would eat for breakfast or lunch, not 'real' pizza. There used to be a place called 'Pizza House' on luang prabang road just past the Thai airways office, don't know if its still there. The pizza was Thai-style (like eating fairy bread with hundreds and thousands on it, too sweet) but I'm assuming alot of Lao people might like it that way. The best pizza in Laos (actually the best pizza in quite a few countries) used to be at that restaurant that shut down a few years ago, Ban Xang Cafe (also near Vat Ongtue) awesome pizza, trouble was the atmosphere at the restaurant was so bad.
At Year 2007, Laos don't have any of the well known Junk Food company to open but 3 years later in 2010 Laos have The Pizza Company to open first of its kind in Vientiane
Yummy! Yummy! So from now on, we don't need just to watch Thai TV Ads and no more dreaming. We're seeing the real Pizza same as on Thai TV already hahahahahahaha
Ha, Swedish Pizza & Baking House is beating the crap out of the Thai Company.
Swedish Pizza is good if your looking for real westernized preparation. There is also another one that sell's good pizza in front of the Mekong River Hotel. Other pizza houses put a touch of Lao in their pizza's.
