How does Revlon gain speedy penetration into the Lao maket

  • Revlon is not high-end as you think.
  • If you try Revlon, you will gain satisfaction from it and feel that it differs from what you used before.

These affirmatives are reflected by Ms Thephasone Xaixana, Director of New-Link Lao, a private enterprise, which is an agent for supplying Revlon products from the United Stated of America in the Lao PDR. She said that the products gain satisfactory success.

“We supply all kinds of Revlon products in Laos, which are divided into five groups such as make-up group, skin lotion group, daily life goods group (shampoo, lotion, bathing cream), perfumes (both male and female) and hair colouring group.”

The cosmetic group gains better sale than other groups or it can be said that it is worldwide.

Question: What is Revlon target in Laos?
Answer: Like in the world, our Revlon target is to be a leader of cosmetics, skin lotion, perfumes and daily body lotion, helping Lao people across the country to get good products and we will be only a single agent in the Lao PDR.

Question:  How does Revlon gain speedy penetration into the Lao market?
Answer: Each year our products gain popularity and people know Revlon increasingly because its quality approves itself. Revlon, a leading brand in the world, is supplied in over 200 countries. This is the main factor that has helped us to gain success until now.

The second factor is service of staff because Revlon personnel are reasonable and do not tell lie and lure BA Revlon customers, we will introduce good and best appropriate things to customers. This is our big principle, which honestly provides customers with services.

Question:  Is Revlon high-end?
Answer: Revlon is not expensive as you think. Our products cost from 27,000 kip to 270,000 kip and over.
We do hope that compared with other brands, Revlon is considered as the first rank. According to the supply and net sale, it is noticed that our products spread widely and people know them more and more.

Question: How many branches does Revlon have? What other services, except the sale?
Answer: At present, we have three branches in Vientiane Capital: Sithan Neua Village, Sihom Village and Morning Market. Moreover, the products are sold in the super mart “Tang Freres” at the Lao International Trade Exhibition and Convention Centre (Lao ITECC) and markets. We also have branches in provinces such as Luang Prabang, Oudomxay and Pakse (Champassak).

In 2007 we have a plan for expanding branches to Savannakhet, where the market study was already carried out for two years. Furthermore, selling in Sihom and Sithan shops, we have beauty services (make-up service for brides inside or outside the place and for all).

Question:  What is a new Revlon product?
Answer: Our new product is Limited Edition Collection, which will be the 2007 make-up trend. Whatever you like sweet or sexy make-up, Revlon guarantees 2007-make-up set, which satisfies many of you. Moreover, age defying 2-way foundation with Botafirm is used for being the first layer to reduce wrinkles. There will be new Revlon products for customers to choose throughout the year in order to prevent wrinkles. There are also skin lotions and others to be chosen for use.

In conclusion, Thephasone sent message through Target, inviting everyone to try the products first or come to ask. We are convinced that when you try, you will feel about difference and real good quality.

Revlon is able to help those who like beauty and make-up. Revlon believes that we are able to promote characteristics for those who are ready and brave to try better things.

Moreover, Revlon provides make-up services and arranges things for product introduction parties.
