The deputy prime minister and foreign minister of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith paid an official visit to Korea. Sisoulith said his government seeks greater cooperation with Korea to help with infrastructure building and human resource development in the Southeast Asian country.
He stressed the need to gain know-how in information technology to facilitate such growth.
The visiting foreign minister also addressed the free trade agreement with his country that will soon take effect.
