More and more cars in Vientiane... a city that was clearly not builded to receive so many.
This just mean - more trafic jams - more pollution - more "energy dependency"... gaz doesn't come from Laos and is more and more expensive.
There are certainly many more clever ways to spend their money for lao people than buying so big cars (that need so much gaz), usualy not made in Laos (give work to people in other countries, but not to lao people).
Laos should find it's onw way to developt itself.... not just copy the mistakes of the main other cities and countries in the world.
I just come from Amsterdam, an important and modern capital (capital of netherland): near no cars, just bicycles, a few motorbikes, bus and tramway. The city is modern, but also peacefull and not polluted... This is certainly a better example to follow.
