Phetchampa company is now praparing the art troop from Laos to perform at the closing ceremony in the 24th SEA GAMES, Nakornlassasima province, Thailand this coming December.

In the closing ceremony, 400 Lao  performers will perform variety of Lao traditional dances to promote Lao culture and to officially declare to be the host for the 25th SEA GAMES in Laos 2009.

The highlight of the performance will be the Lao pop star: Alexandra Bounxouei who will sing a new theme song for the 25th SEA Games in both English and Lao version to welcome all the athlets and guests to the 25th SEA GAMES. Currently Alexandra has a lot of performances in Thai TV and gain a lot of popularity among thai and Lao fans.

In the 24th SEA Games in Thailand, Laos will send 610 athlets and official staffs to join the event. Laos sets high hope of 5 gold medals, 2 from Petanque, and the others from boxing, and the like.

For the 25th SEA GAMES In laos, 25 official sports are chosen and Laos set high hope to get at least 10 gold medals! There will be no Basketball and Lift weighting in this event because they are not popular in Laos.
