1. Jansom Bungalows, Koh Tao, Thailand (Thailand)

Since we arrived there off-season, they rented us the hut next to the water for 300 Baht. Two beds, two hammocks, a big terrace almost over the water and one of the best beaches of the world just outside the door. And yes, there is pizza delievery in town!

2. Champalao Bungalows, Vang Vieng, Laos (Laos)
Located on the island with all the bars, these bungalows are definitely great value. A big bed, nice area around and a short way to everything necessary in Vang Vieng is included in the price of $3. Should you ever forget or lose your key, you can still get in trough the window in ten seconds - very convenient!

3. Cold River Guesthouse, Luang Prabang, Laos (Laos)
Good value also, and nicely located in a nice place called Luang Prabang. What distinguished this place is the owner family - they’re lovely and introduced us in some Buddhist ceremonies!

4. Okay Guesthouse, Phnom Penh, Cambodia (Cambodia)
Even though it’s very commission based, you get good food here, some cheap beds, and very sociable waiters. They even have a drink with you in a club after work and know everything about Cambodia that you need to know.

5. InnCrowd, Singapore (Singapore)
Very clean, free breakfast, nice people around, and free internet as well. It’s located in Little India so cheap delicious is around at all times. They also organize free tours to sights around the city.
