I've been listening to this. Is she even a Lao person? She have a mixed accent. She does not like a native of Laos. She speak with a mixed Viengchan and Savanakhet/Pakse accent. I got another question: Why doesn't she say the phrase in a normal speaking tone?

It is the first lao lesson to non lao native speaker. It is important to speak clearly, slowly and word by word, so that the foreigners can imitate the sound correctly. It just reminds me the time i've first started learning japanese.... wa ta shi wa... john ...de..su...
