Quake hits Laos; Tremors felt in the North

(BangkokPost.com) - An moderate 5-magnitude earthquake hit the Democratic Republic of Laos on Tuesday afternoon.

Tremors were reportedly felt in Chiang Rai province, which was about 150 kilometres from the epicentre.

The moderate quake was reported at 1.47pm.

There are no reports of injuries or casualties.
