I have seen this shop in the fountain area since last week before Boat Racing Festival started and today still. How do you think of this shop in this area? I think it's not good. I pass there everyday when I see this shop I feel bad for Lao Government. I also concern about Lao Tourism. Do you have any more comments? Should or Should not to set up the small shop to sell food in that area. I took these photos today moring when the owner of this shop was me he was not satisfied. so I stop and ran way to net shop to share these photos to all of you here.

The place now named Nam Phu was first built in the 1920s as a covered market, so it has a long history of food service in the area. Food attracts people to eat, its a good thing for tourist.
Not 1920s, it was built late l950s, this area was used to be morning market, Vientiane. Then this market moved to Ta Lat Sout, Lane Sang Ave. Now Ta Lat Sout became modern mall for Vientianese.
