Although Laos has no sea, Lao people are able to eat fresh
seafood think to the supply of Vientiane Seafood

Clean restaurant, delicious food and inexpensive price are available in Vientiane Seafood.

4Although Laos has no sea, Lao people are able to eat fresh seafood due to the supply of Vientiane Seafood.

This is reaffirmation of Boualaphanh Phetthany, Director of Vientiane Seafood, complex seafood centre, which kicked off the business on 23 July 2007.

Q: What uniqueness does the restaurant have?
A:
1.The internal decoration emphasizes the Chinese modern style, which is modified and mixed with the European one.
2.The service is excellent. The attention is paid to customers coming to and leaving the restaurant and serving food and beverages.
3.Customers are able to see the hygiene in the restaurant, particularly an open-style kitchen so they can see every cooking process and step to ensure cooks prepare food in hygienic conditions.
4. All seafood ensure freshness because we order them directly from Pluket in Adaman sea, Thailand through the flight to Udon Thani and then land transportation to Vientiane within not over six hours.
5. When seafood is fresh, food must be delicious and satisfies customers. You can taste food yourself, which are prepared by many-year experienced cooks.
6. Even though the restaurant decoration features Chinese and European culture, we never neglect the Lao culture. Uniforms of our employees emphasize the Lao style, tidiness and politeness.

Q: What does the name of Vientiane Seafood mean?
A: Although Laos has no sea, Lao people are able to eat fresh seafood and do not need to go to eat in foreign countries. Remember Vientiane Seafood! Previously, it was seen that a lot of restaurants were established, but seafood restaurants were in a small number. Therefore, the initiative occurred to help Lao people have fresh food to eat. Its price is suitable for incomes of Lao people.

Q: Why does your design hold a lobster symbol?
A: Our restaurant provides complex seafood service. The main and famous dish of our restaurant is made of tropical spiny lobsters, ornate lobsters and tiger prawns. Thus, our restaurant has a big lobster symbol to create impression. If you want to eat big lobsters, please come to Vientiane Seafood.

Q: What about the characteristics and location?
A: We chose Nongbone village on Kaysone Phomvihane road in Satsettha district to be the location of the restaurant. The choice is considered as different to others because this site is located mainly in the city centre, partially in the vicinity.

“If the choice is made like this, it will make the focal point so I want the restaurant to be accessible in all corners of the city and customers are able use the service conveniently and do not need to go to only one point. This means tourists who come to visit Pathouxay, That Luang or travel from the south, are able to visit and have meal in our restaurant and do not need to drive downtown,” he said.

I think that the availability of many services creates more choices for customers and competition. It helps every restaurant improve and develop its service to be highly standardized to attract customers. Vientiane Seafood is not anxious and worried about competitors because we consider quality and service as the first.

The director added: “At present, we are able to serve 100 customers. If the business is well responded by the society, we will expand it to serve 500 customers more.

If you prefer or like to taste fresh seafood, don’t forget Vientiane Seafood, which opens all days from 11 am to 11 pm or call 453512-13 to reserve tables in advance.
