This is a kind of "Bud Sa Lop Dance" and it is very popular dance in a wedding party, birthday party, new year party, etc... this kind of dance is found also in Cambodia and Vietnam but in different style.

Can we 100% say that this is Lao dance ?

This video look like Madison Dance,
I love to dance Madison. It's clearly not lao originated, but Laos is one of the few countries where people still dance it "quite usualy". I discovered this dance in Laos and i think it's a great dance : not too fast nor too slow, everyone can dance, not too difficult to dance (but i'l still very bad dancer, i have to train more). I also like the fact that's it's a "group dance" : i think it's very good for a party, everyone can join and everyone go togather. It's not single, ore "one to one" dance...i like a lot the atmosphere/ambiance when people dance this! LIOT OF FUN

The one you show on this video is little bit different from what i saw in lao parties, but the "concept" is the same : people make a square, and turn on themself in 4 "steps"
