Ever wonder why we hardly see pictures of elder monks anymore?

That is your answer. The head monk of the Wat does not set rule. If he take time to teach the Vinaya Pitaka to newly ordain monk, we will probably not see this.

Another things, I see video on YouTube and pictures on those pictures hosting sites such as flckr and imageshack showing young FARANG corrupting the novice monks by teaching them bad words and giving them or making them doing things that they are not suppose to do.

There you go. Three reasons why.

1) No teaching of Vinaya (rules)
2) No Abbot (Head Monk)
3) Farang
