Can we remove this out from the monument ?

Is it possible not to hang any message or signboard on the top of this Victory gate again. Also, would it possible to remove those steel rods remain on the top properly. I just have my eye-sore seeing these rods pop up on the top. It looks like the place to hang cloths.

I have just noticed that there are chain links put on top of the landmark monument. They look very ugly. They should not put any such things on top of the arch.

It is just a nice park with a huge cement structure. Not even that great looking.
Why don't they hire some artists to remodel it. Maybe add some marble, gold trimming, and silver.

I believe all the junk on the top not only should or have but MUST BE REMOVED, otherwise it obstructs the proper view. Vientiane has CITY COUNCIL PEOPLE or not, they should understand about environment....and they should see the rubbish on the top made the monument looked ugly.
Don't they have brain or good eyes to see it.

I think we don't need to be so serious, otherwise our live will be short because of getting stress, probably.

Nothing on earth is perfect. You think you are really right, but the people, who left the steel rods there, also think they are right. They need the rods to be the supporters for future purposes when they will hang some slogans there on important days occassions. They don't want to remove and put again as that works are really dangerous for them, you see in a high position.

The suppose important monument is nothing but a place to hold banner and advertisement?

That would make the monument more important, I supposed. The slogans such as:  "Long live Lao people", "Long live Laos" or  "Long live Lao Leaders" are not advertisements, no doubt.

So the monument is for advertisement and PROPAGANDA?
