I don't think it's a popularity contest...I think it depends on the person and their talent and what they are passionate about..the people that are mixed with the Lao are exposed to more things univerisally by nature because of their second race..Being mixed is unique and it adds a little more diversity to their background.

Hey LAO'S BLOOD thanks for the offer. I'll keep your email with me. I just want to Laos in March 2007 and again Dec 2007, i'm kind of broke right now. But i will be back to Laos in Dec 2008 for 3 months. As a Canadian, i find that in April and March is just too hot. When i was there last march, the sweat was comming out of my pours. The peole in the market was making fun of me, called Laos farlang. Its all good. And its true.

Hey LAO'S BLOOD, i just got off the phone with my fiance from Laos. She said there a big ceremony in What PHou this week and it suppose to go on for 15 days and night. Everytime i go, is always missed those ceremony by a couple of weeks.
I missed the Laos New Year last year by a couple of weeks. And i missed this ceremony by a 3 weeks. Just me luck EH!. No worries though. I planned on moving there eventually. Itls all cool

i didn't know Lao have movie industry.. few movies i saw are funded by different projects, it is more like awarness movies. for example.. child labor and SARS..
