there is an unfortunate incident happened to Lao illegal immigrants to Thailand again where they have been forced to work and punished violently and even got no pay over the past two years.
This piece of news must be published in lao medias in order to raise awareness among lao people who are vunerable to trafficking and who plan to go to work in thailand. this should be a good lesson to learn from.
What should lao concerned agencies do about this issue??? we have seen many similar incidents over and over again.

There are a lot of posters, movies, song, campaigns, etc... to educate Lao people about the illegal immigrant to work in Thailand. However, since there are many job oppotunities provide in Thailand than in Laos and many people believe that the salary in Thailand is better than in Laos. As a result, some of them were forced to work without any payment and more than that, some was tortured or rapped by thai.
It is hard to stop them crossing the boder to sell labors in Thailand when money is only their need. Many areas in Laos are very remote and from north to south we have borders with Thailand. It is hard to monitor and control people to cross the border and work in Thailand.
i'm sorry for bad thai guies.but please belive me this little peple do like this. in Thai everyone think lao is same family.please understand thai peple more 95% love and respect Lao peple.
THE THAI GOVERNMENT SHOULD CRACK DOWN ON CHILD LABOUR. THE PROBLEM IS SPREADING THROUGH OUT SOUTHEAST ASIAN. ITS MORE WORST IN INDIA AND CHINA. KEEP UP THE MEDIA AWARENESS OF IT. AND REPORT FACTORIES THAT HIRES CHILD LABOUR. BECAUSE THERE ARE INTERNATIONAL LAW TO DEAL WITH THOSE COMPANIES. EITHER THROUGH EMBARRASSMENT OR FINES FOR THEIR COMPANIES.
MORE SCHOOLS AND TEACHERS FOR THE POOR VILLAGER ARE NEEDED. GO VISIT OUR COUNTRY OF LAOS AND CONTRIBUTE SOMETHING. EITHER ECONOMICLY OR TEACHING. OR JUST BEING A TOURIST IS STILL HELP GENERATE DOLLARS FOR THE COUNTRY AND OUR PEOPLE. DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THE RICH HOTELS AND BARS. GO SPEND THOSE MONEY ON THE PEOPLE.
