too bad, the woman did't wear appreciated Lao costume. She is too revealing to be called a nice Lao woman.

I guess this Video is based on photos of overseas woman who came to visit her relatives in Laos with her husband and son.

So, she might be Laotian, but her nationality is not Lao. That's why we can see her free style wearing.

I think, it doesn't matter that we need to be serious about that. The more important is the topic "Laos-my home-sweet-home".

I think it is important to dress properly when she presented herself as a Lao woman whether she has Lao citizen or not' She must also dress neatly to suit the place, the environment and the ambien. Don't show that you can dress the way you want to dress. Even in the West, Lao-Americans or Lao-Europeans don't dress like this. It is very unbecoming for Lao women at large.

What's humorous is that less clothes somehow pertain to "sexual" acts and society bases its standard with that in mind.

The Japanese dress accordingly with "its not what you wear, its when you wear it" ie: mini skirts in a business office? no. jeans and a skirt out for a vacation? why not? I think that fits dress codes in modern societies to a tee.

SHE IS TRYING TO HARD TO IMPRESS.  SHE NEED TO TONE IT DOWN A BIT.  I THINK THE POOR PEOPLE IN LAOS KNOWS THAT SHE IS FROM AMERICA AND SHE IS RICH.

WHERE IS THE COMMUNIST POLICE, TO COME A ARREST HER.  I GUESS LAOS IS NOT 100% COMMUNIST ANYMORE.  FOR THOSE WHO HATES THE GOVERNMENT OF LAOS, CAN STILL VISITS AND WEAR WHATEVER YOU WANT.  ITS F***KING SAFE.

The Laos government is still Communist until all of you change it.

The women should dress properly according to place and situation. Dress like you are going for a dress dinner at downtown is different what  you would wear going to a farm.

For those that going back to Laos, please don't try to impress anyone. The more attention you draw to yourself the more problem you going to have.

Also it will give bad impression for other people who will go there in the future.

I don't think the word " impress" would be appropriate to describe the way she dressed. I would say " show off" instead.
Shame...shame on her!!!
I'm Lao girl growing up in USA, but never dress like that in any occasion.
The good way to impress people is to show them how much we value our tradition and culture even we're abroad

Oh you are great. I really do agree with you. I would say that even the real American or Western women would not dress like she did. At least, I have never seen such as.

Yes, I do not mind if she dresses like this and goes to bar or dance party.

People often say, clever people would do things that suit to circumstance.
