the biggest plans that are currently in use is ATR72.. 3 years ago... lao signed a leased with France for Airbus but it was running for less than a year.. lao airline was loosing $$ due to the fact that people werent flying lao airline.. i had a chance to flew back to VTE with that new Airbus.. it was nice ride but i can't understand a word from the pilot.... at that time, there weren't any qualify lao pilot to fly the new Airbus.. so, they had this vietnamese pilot flying lao airline..

Everytime I visited Laos, I preferred to fly with Lao Airlines from Bangkok to Vientiane or via versa as much as possible, even though I am a citizen of other country now, but I still like to use Lao Airlines, that way I know that I am supporting Lao people and Lao economy.

I would urge all of you who's going to visit Laos in near future to support Lao Airlines or products, although the quality of service isn't up there with other airlines but they are slowly getting there.

Please support Lao Airlines and Lao Products.

We should support Lao Airlines. Why people use Thai Airlines from Bangkok to Vientiane? They should impose more tax on people using that airlines.

I will fly LAOS AIRLINE the next time i'm going to Laos. If i dont have to go to Bangkok airport, i wont. The waiting is too long. I find that the people in the airport are not that friendly there. I dont know if it is just me. But they look at me suspiciouly and its very uncomfortable.

At least in Laos i'm not scared of the people. Just the police. They frick me out a little. They dont smile that often.

Can someone tell me the altertive route to Laos via other countries besides Thailand. I would appriciated very much.

HEY FOR SURE DUDE. ANYTIME!. Last time i got so drunk, i think i drank at least 10 bottles of Lao Beer by myself. Do some little dancing at NONG PA, it was cool.

Now i'm back in Canada. Going to work and getting yell at every other day.

Now try Lao Airline from SIN-VTE 3 times a week beginning this Nov. No need to go to BKK again if u don't have to.

Now Lao gov't sent 12 pilots to train 3 months in Thailand, 6 months in France and their last leg 6 months in the US. All these training should be done by the end of this year ( 2011 ). That's why Lao Airline is preparing to take off direct flight from VTE-SIN and VTE to other parts of ASEAN.

By the time you are going to Laos in December, Laos Airline will open the route to

Singapore. We don't have to via Bang**** anymore. Which is I hated too. Everythime

I via Bank**** airport, I got ripped off as usual.

I think logo or trademark of Lao Airline is not correct words in lao language.

Lao Airline=Saykonbane Lao, this is correct to say in lao and english. what do you think?
