Does young Lao kids in Laos still go to the temple to Tukk Bhadt? Or Tukk Bhadt in the morning?
Every pictures I've seen so far were mostly of middle age and old women. Does Laos people still believe in Buddhism or do they just go to the temple for the party and festivity.
Lao kids not often go too temples but they will when they are adult or older because of charaecteristic of the age. the young and the old sometimes do something different

When I was in Laos, in the village, I had a poog kaen or baci ceremony. I didn't see ANY of my cousins, which are all younger than me, ANYWHERE. When it was finally done, I saw them outside.
My grandmother went to thuk baht some mornings when I was there, never with any of my cousins.
I assume that it isn't that young children don't want to take part, its that they maybe CAN'T take part.
