I recently shop over there and the shop wasnt completted yet, it's own by chinese franchise. well, it's good to have it in laos for economy grow and maybe will help alil-bit for the laos employment. Chinese and laos it's much different, Thousand and thousand of years we all come from china, so chinese is our big family. Thier girl is very sexy and cute......hahahahaha
recently, there are postings of chinese invading or taking over laos.. i have a mix feeling about this one..
my grandfather landed in laos 100 years ago.. he was a kid when his family settled in laos.. he worked all sorted of jobs to support his family and eventually owned his business.. later on he married a lao lady(grandma) and been a good citizen.. in the late 70's when our family left laos.. we tried to talked him into coming with us.. he said he will die in laos and didnt want to go.. which he did..
the moral to this story is.... chinese people will not change lao culture or the way of living for lao folks.. if you look around in VTE.. laos been influenced by few other countries, the main one is French... most of old buildings in VTE are all french colony style buildings..
I think is better to have chinese, Japanese, Korean and american to run business in laos. Japanese is very smart poeple as well as chinese. So hey come on in big brothers, we laos laos your dollars bills and new Cars. Them girls are hot, so Japapnese or chinese babe as well as Korean. hahahahahaha
