No. Lao dances are Lam Vong and other Lams. This is another Western or  Foreign dances, not Lao dance.

Those dances are clearly western originated... so not really Lao dances.
But in the other hand, you can notice the lao music and song, lao traditional costume for the women, and maybe some specifivities in the dance style.

Moreover, if you consider another dance, Madison, it is, like rock&roll or chachacha, a dance that very few people dance in western countries nowadays. In Laos, many people dance Madison (for wedding parties, etc...), and lao people create every year new style of this dance and new songs for it.... so in a way, we can say that this dance became typicaly lao and there is a specific lao style.

Not "traditional lao', for sure, but "typicaly lao", yes...

It's more surprising to see lao people dancing rock and roll and chachacha, but who knows? lao people like have fun in parties, like dancing.... maybe those 'old' dances will develop and get a new life... in laos

First dance is called Swing or East coast swing originated in America in WWII , still very popular and is in one of Ballroom dance.   The 2nd one is not western or europe.  The 3rd ofcourse, it's Cha Cha originated in Latin America or Cuba.  It's one of Ballroom dance too.  But something not right in those dances.  The guys and girls are not dancing to the  beat with the musics.  There's no lead and follow.  That's Ok guys.  That might be your good start.   Anyone is interested in learning Ballroom dancing?

Madison dance.  I am in California never heard of that dance.   Only Ballroom dance is popular here.  Soon it will be part of Olympic game.  Have you seen "Dancing with the stars"? It's awsome.
