Great questions from SeeHarHed...

To the Anonymous who posted this topic, you need to provide/have more detail if you want to post and share information with others.  This is not a guessing site.

Thanks.

He is Dr. Borsaikham Vongdara, died in emergency at Khonkaen hospital after he was rushed there from a Nongkhai hospital. He was minister of energy and mine. He graduated from a Soviet university and was one of Mr. Phoumy Vongvichit's relatives. His brother is Dr. Borsengkeo Vongdara. That is all I know of right now. I read this story from a Thai newspaper yesterday.

Come on !... from Soviet University means he went to study there in former Soviet Union (now Russia), as many current and former LPDR's government officials.

He graduated from A Soviet university. That means from a Soviet Russian university. Don't know the name of that university. Find out yourself if you want to know it.

If you want more details, ask the authorities who know more details e.g. his family, his parents and his background. But, why do you want to know more ad do you think I can tell you all of the details? Don't ask too much or want to know too much.

My deepest condolence to the family of the Minister. It is truly sad that Laos has lost one of its most talented Sons and Patriot. Rest in peace Minister Vongdara.

From one Anonymous to another, if you are responding to my comments then let me respond back to you, if not then my apology.  That's not kind of details I care about!  My main point was if you/whoever posting this topic need to provided more details such as name, where he last served, & the most important what has he done for Lao!  A tiltle alone does not tell me much of a person."A Lao Minister just passed away today in a Thai hospital in northeast Thailand."  This does not tell me anything.    Best regards.

It was a great lost for Vongdara family and our country as well. As far as I know, he is the most educated and talented person.

Yes, no one can avoid this destination no matter how rich you are, no matter how high position you occupy.

So, doing something good for our relatives, our friends or even our world and loving each other when we are alive are still allowable to do. After dying we would have no any opportunity to do that.

That is impossible to tell you everything in the news because noone knows much about it. You have to wait for more details later on, not to know all the details in the news break. For example, if the war broke out now noone knowsYou must be patient and don't rush to learn about what is going on or knows all the details. Keep calm and learn how to wait and see for more details later on.
