The result of its transition from socialism to capitalism
Permalink

The reward of becoming a capitalistic society under the Chinese characteristic has overtly shown it here. In the 70s or early 80s, China skyline, skyscraper could only be in a fairytale for their people. Laos isn’t so big and I can hardly wait to see its advancement. It’s quite amazing though to think of the Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping who barely stood at 4 11” with his economical theory propounding it to their parliament in 1978 and so much resistance from those hardliners in their socialist system. In spite all of that, Deng declared his firm position as the key proponent and a leading defender of his economic strategy which finally implemented in full force.

The quick result appeared in the late 80s wherein small business district started to sprout highlight buildings; factories, modern theatres and foreign firms spreading pervasively throughout eastern part of China. Now, the Chinese are obsessed with the concept of building a comprehensive national power based upon a confluence of their military, economy, nationalistic mentality, patriotic expression, and chauvinistic beliefs among their citizens. The shame of being a poor Chinese Communist no longer applied; instead, their leaders are humbly assessing how China, comparing to other countries in both terms economically and militarily. Furthermore, they are calculating their country’s new position in a global ranking.

I am also pleased to learn about the current situation in Laos though the progress may be in a slow pace, but obviously, the country is moving forward based on what I have witnessed from You Tube videos and from other news such as the construction of hotels, roads, schools, hospitals, libraries and so on. Moreover, the establishment of relations with many countries and the annual dispatch of a small number of its students abroad have impressed me a lot. It is undeniable that Laos has been revamping its shattered economy since the mid 80s and we Laotians should be supportive of its endeavor.

Some day Laos may look like this:

I doubt the Lao people will pollute.

I mean sure there is some rumors about illegal logging.

But there has been so much about the government preserving its forestry, its hard to believe they will pollute it to death like China.

I don’t know if that would a good idea Lan Xang. You know I am scare of any communist soldier lol, I like to say thing explicitly as I feel because of my customary habit and my prolonged exposure to the free world. It would be safer for me to stay as far away as possible from Mr. LPA I suppose. Political conformity is usually not in my nature. I would not say white if it is black. That’s just the way I am. I don't think they would like that.

You are a true son of a b1tch and a classic example of an imbecile. Every post of mine has many viewers and repliers as well. You tail my as$ under an anonymous username hoping that I have some sh1t left for you to lick but I had told more than once to go eat your own sh1t and die. You are not even good enough to lick my feet let alone to talk to me. I can post anything I want and there is nothing you can do about it. You come from a lowlife family and it’s not my fault. You should live with it stupid b1tch.
yawn

Oh! but one more thing I want to tell you dimwit that I am above you in every field. You are not anywhere close to my level. Your spite and envy won't help you a bit; it only show how pathetic you are, but that's normal for a brainless b1tch like you.yawn

You still want to come and eat my sh1t when I already told you that you are not good enough to even lick my dirty feet dimwit. You just made a terrorist threat over an internet and it is against our American law in which our Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and our Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has zero tolerance. I can refer this website along with your comments my local FBI right now. Do you understand that dimwit?idea

I agree with you on that; however, the water pollution and the air pollution in China are due to variety of reasons and the main cause, I think, is from millions of their people burning of charcoal every day. But the construction of civilian nuclear power plants soon would subside the problem.

Yes!!  The Chinese Government ordered all factories must be shut down a month prior to the summer olympic games.  But, the air still aren't as clean and the city was covered with smog.

Don’t worry, my family is Buddhist and they talked me out of it. They believe in forgiveness and especially in your case that you are a student from Laos, it would be a major lost for you. I am sure communist officials in Laos expect you to return with all the knowledge and put them into use. Just keep it mind this is a public forum and not everybody will say what you always want to hear. It’s not a forum where just you and your girlfriend can chat. People cuss at each other all the times on the internet but no one would cross the line to issue a threat like you. I use my brain when I am upset. Take it as your lesson today. Nobody is afraid of you in this country.
