Please read the article carefully. The author did not say drugs everywhere in Vientiane, but he said the damn taxi driver asked him if he wants kanja or opium?
i didnt say that author say, I said myself about the drugs, I dont know so,I want to ask the opinion of u guys' . the author has written well about Laos, but I didn't like that he criticized the government agiants the drugs, I might be wrong!!

Drugs are everywhere in Vientiane is exaggeration. I don't think there are drugs at government's offices or at the police department. I don't believe in what the author said in his article.

I want to tell you that immigrants and refugees have their new countries where they resettle there. They can become the citizens of their adopted countries and enjoy every rights and previleges there. And they are happy with their new countries because they have good oppotunities to get good jobs, education, houses, cars, freedom and prosperity. They are really happy to choose what they want and don't want.
It's true what the writer says about ganga being offered by taxi drivers. So what. They'll also offer you girls. There is a certain kind of tuk tuk driver that specializes in falang tourists. When you speak Lao they change the subject.

i post this topic because I wanted to ask you that are drugs anywhere in vientiane? if it's true I would say that it's really bad and sad. i saw it many boy sold the drugs to the tourism, how are u going to explain? I am so sad that the local police are not working hard on this matter or perharps, they know what's going on in vientiane they just close an eye and open an eye!
I believe that drug is a part of tourist bussiness in Laos, some tourisms are enjoy taking drug in Vangvieng and many places in Laos!!!!however I sometime take a Gan sa,,, Haha
