WHo is the host? Laos or Thailand? or Laos and Thailand is the same country?

Thailand offered to host basketball in Bangkok but Laos insisted that if its going to be held in Thailand, it has to be near the border of Laos.

With the addition of three sports, there’s now 25 sports to be played in the Laos SEAG including aquatics (swimming and diving), athletics, badminton, boxing, football, golf, judo, karate, muay, sepak takraw, shooting, table tennis, taekwondo, tennis, volleyball, wrestling, wushu, fin swimming, petanque, pencak silat, and shuttle****. Lao officials don't think about SEA, they just think about Laos only and the reason they don't include basketball is because Lao athletes are so small and short that they have no way to compete with other nations' athletes. And they don't have money and equipment and trainers to stage the game. Poor, poor, poor.

I dont agree to allow other nation hosts Basketball Competition for us, it will really damage our reputation and very lose face... and might make other country think Laos and Thai are the same country and also same language.

Why dont they use the Indoor stadium of National University of Indoor stadium in Savannakhet...
