The other one is like a squash. If you are Lao you know how to cook it. But I remember you can keep it on the vine until it ripe and let it dry it on the vine until skin/shell become hard. People use them to keep water inside. The one in the picture look like they been picked when still green from the vine and left out to dry up but become rotten.
