Don't call it monkey dance. Those are soldiers from Hanuman's army.

It is a play probably from Rama Epic (Phra Lam).

They are the soldiers of Prarak-Pralam or Pralak-Pralam.

 First picture is of Hanuman monkey army holding the knife/sword.

The second is of Ravana demon army holding the fighting club.
