No.

If we call Isan Thai then it means that we don't want them to know who they are.
but If we call Isan Lao then it means that we don't want to accept them as Thai.

Either way you are gonna criticize Thai, aren't you?

Isan was Lao people in my eyes. Lao in Lao today wasn't the exactly same Lao back then because of French and everything and Thai Isan in Isan today wasn't the exactly same ethnic Lao back then either because of Thai and everything. They have grown separately.

So now people that live in Isan are ethnic Thai. The same way that Hmong people in Lao are now ethnic Lao.

by your conclusion, Chinese people that came over to America over 100 years ago to build railroad are Ethnic American now? that is wrong conclusion.

Hmong is Hmong. They never be ethnic Lao. Lao is Lao no matter where they live.

Before there was Lao there was something else. Lao was created by Kingdoms and Ethnics before Lao. Lao wan't just happen to be Lao at the time the world was created.

by your conclusion, only Native America (Red Indian, Mayan?) are Ethnic American now?

Because Lao wants Lao to have the Last comment and doesn't want anyone to defences themself even if those Lao's comments was rude and wasn't true. In the other word Lao doesn't want to hear it anymore because the truth make Lao facing the reality that Lao is truly stupid and will never change easily.

I've been tried to be reasonable not to be rude but seem like it doesn't matter when you talking to a dumb.

That Far Right, Yes he is from I-san. The meaning of I-San is North Eastern direction or North Eastern part of Thailand.

I-san has two parts ; Northern I-san & Southern I-san. Nothern I-san has Thai people which speaking similar to us (Laos) but Southern part of I-san has Thai people who speaking similar to Cambodia.

I-san is not Lao ok..and I don't think they are Lao like us too. I don't think they wil proud to be Lao like us too. You know what? Look at Lao today. Our Capital City is very modern just compare to the same small provinces of Thailand only.

Watching TV..you think which TV chanels you are watching? Lao TV or Thai TV?

I don't know what to say about you guys..I saw many topics posting most of the comments in negative way to Thailand. Are you really hate them? Just b'cos some of them look down on your race? Everybody look down on each other even in Lao society or even in Thailand society.

hey guys, don't just use sitting in front of your computer and use these keyoard as a knife to kill people on the net. Look at yourself now..what you make for Laos to grow up.

Now aday, I can say I'm not proud to be Laos yet. I don't like people sneering at me that I'm from one of the poorly countries in Asia.
