What is the best way to have everyone to respect each other and be friendly?
This is topic is not asking everyone to love each other, but just be nice?
No hard feeling, but feel free to comment!

I thought Lao people always love and respect each other no matter where they live.

From what I see and where I live, Lao people get along fine, they just don't unite. Everybody thinks they are better than others. We are one of the smallest Asian group in major cities of America and I see we have hundreds of Lao associations. Everybody just hang out with their own clique.

doesn't seem to be the case based on several posts in this forum...calling people 'buck' this & 'buck' that, Lao nai & Lao nork trading insults, negative stereotyping of certain ethnic groups...

- independent non-Lao observer

They only talked big like that when they could login as anonymous. I have not seen any of them bark lately.

Yes, probably you are right.

BTW, I did not use :" I think that Lao ......" I did use :"I thought Lao .... "
I think you know what I mean.

TSP: i get what you mean by using past tense :P

BLM: have come across quite a bit of the negative stereotyping & discrimination in real life too, when visiting Laos.
