hy they mentioned the price only Thai bath but not in Lao kip? please do not lose our identity and symbol.

cos a large part of that information is about how to travel between Nong Khai & Bangkok, since there is no direct train service between Tha Nalaeng & Bangkok yet (have to switch trains in Nong Khai), so the fares are all in Thai baht. don't think you can pay with Lao kip in Thailand :P

even though the Tha Nalaeng-Nong Khai railway has been officially opened, still no idea when actual service will start...keep waiting...

i think because all the news related to railway between Thai and Lao come from the Thailand sources, but not Laos's, however that is not a big deal what kind of currency has mentioned, Lao people have dollar, kip and Thai bath in their pocket..is it right?

Finally Southeast Asia is becoming like Europe and they are making railways to connect all the countries. Soon there will be a Southeast Asian Rail Pass like the Euro Rail Pass. Cheaper than flying and faster than walking!
