(KPL) Lao Brewery Company, owner of brand name Beerlao has confirmed it would not increase the price of its most popular Beerlao during the coming Lao New Year (14-16 April).
Assistant to Director General of Lao Brewery Company, Mr. Bounkan Kounlabout, said last Friday that the products of the company such as Beerlao and Tiger Head drinking water are enough for the market consumption during the coming Lao new year so the customers had no needs to worry about its market supply.
Mr. Bounkan also said that the company would closely monitor and control the prices of the company products sold at its distributors and retail shops to prevent them from selling at any prices on the basis of the whims and fancies.
Last year the company contributed 600 billion kip to the national coffer. And in the first two months of this year the company has given 100 billion kip to the coffer.
The Lao Brewery Company aims to contribute as much as 600 billion kip to the national coffer in despite of the financial crisis this year.
The Lao Brewery Company is also the main sponsor for the 25th SEA Games in Vientiane by the end of this year.
i think if there was not Tiger beer in market they will increase the price for sure .business is also business . as i am a beer drinker i would like to thanks for Tiger beer ,if there is not 2nd beer maker in laos there is nothing improve for lao customer . i wish if there are more than beerlao and tigerbeer happened in laos ..beer`s price will be cheeper for all season
