It’s amazing though that our people are capable of staging spectacular events (Pee Mai) even with small population. hey BLM.. were you in SF event last weekend?
No I didn’t go.A friend of mine informed me by phone of how crowded the place was because he went there earlier, so I decided to stay home and chatted with my sister who’s in Vientiane. She was heading to Japan with her husband for a ten-day visit.Did you have fun in San Francisco? Kudos to you for being there; that was a great support for our people and I really admire your patron.It’s no wonder why with a small population of Laotian in U.S but they can host a spectacular event. Conceivably, the Lao New Year celebration will be much entertaining in 2010 because there are people like you.I am ashamed of myself now. It’s not that I didn’t want to go but laziness and hesitation got the best of me.I wish you and your family for the best of luck and your contribution to the event in San Francisco is honorable to all of us Laotian. I am proud of you.

Yea man I had alot of fun in SF last weekend. I ran into alot of old friends and families whom I haven't seen for months or years. I'm glad to see all the laotian came out and support the event. It is probably the first time in a long long time since I've seen so many laotian folks at same place. I don't think the organizers were ready for this much of crowds. It was crazy trying to buy foods.. no lines and maybe that is something they can work on next year. But, over all it is good to see our people come together and support the event. I'm sure next year event will be even bigger and I'll be there for sure.

Sorry fellows, the denver, CO celebration is postpon to May 9 and 10 2009, Sorry for couple girls singer, who have travelled there to perform have to see just several inches of snow. hopely she or they can sing Hnao, hnao, hnao chai.
