Not everybody knows where Laos is at. No, I wouldn't think of them being stupid if they do not know where Laos is on the map. I just figure they are not well educate on world geography. I'm sure like most white American probably don't care to know where the U.S. Army drop most bombs during Vietnam War.

Even some or most of them are Lao or have Lao parents or Lao ancestors, they are not stupid if they don't know about Laos or where Laos is located on the world map. They are not interested about knowing Laos or couldn't care less. Even Lao people in Laos don't know about Laos. You can ask some Lao people or most tribes in Laos or in the countryside or on the mountaintop whether they know about Laos.

You guys need to understand the real world. We are so small and still poor country in SE Asia. In Western world they may not know "Lao"

Not like Vietnam, they know the name of the country b'cos of Vietnam War

Not like Thailand, they know the name of the county b'cos of the name of Bangkok, Pataya and Phuket by Tourism and open country since 100s years ago as "Siam"

Not like Burma, they know b'cos of Mrs. Aung San Suu Kyi, known for...Leader of the National League for Democracy, Nobel Peace Prize recipient

All we need to do is Tourism presentation to road show at oversea to promote tourism to Lao but the problem is how to get that big money to use. Ofcos we need to borrow money from international money funds smile
