It's definitely in Laos. Thailand doesn't have that kind of triangle traffic sign. and in Esan you can barely see those French colonial buildings.
Why? Does it hard to believe for you? Do you think Lao is nicer than Thai-Esan?
I've seen this in Laos too but only during the rocket festival.
