i m a big fan for lao hiphop , i think lao nok such as Gumby,supasang ,Lao crimino ... they r good at mixing and tighter beat. but obviously Lao nai r much better in words. any way i support both if they r good enough and they r improving. PS " gor khor kor" (luangprabang hip hop)is kinda funny regarding to his accent and words, and he added litter french english or even Japanese ! that made me laugh. so fun
Definitely,That Lao-nai rap's way way better than Lao-nok, a matter of fact i don't think we have any Lao-nok 's rapper.maybe one or two i guess.
because rap lao nai have ka xuang vat tha na thum guide them the lyric is been seen first before on public and lao nai consider the singer is example for the piblic . but rap lao nok they no have guide they just say what they want .

Rap sounds better in english but when they rap in lao language especially luang prabang accent make it sound even worse. The Lao rappers in the U.S.A. sing the original style of hip hop made by African Americans in New York. The rappers in Laos sing more of a pop version of Hip Hop. They also don't rap about violence, being a gangster, selling drugs, how much money they have, or how they fuct some girl. Personally the lyrics of the Lao rappers in Laos is better to listen to. I don't want to hear some guy rapping about how good he is, how much money he has, how he has all the girls, how he can kill someone, and how he smokes weed or does other drugs. That is just a totally negative message and puts you in the wrong frame of mind when you listen to it.
I prefer hip-hop music from Laos rather than elsewhere. The lyrics of Lao rappers in America are a bit too vulgar and inappropriate.
That might be true but hip hop in U.S with cussing words has big market for it and black rappers are well-known millionaires, so I don't think you can deny that.

Don't forget that one of the main reasons why Lao Nai don't cuss, or rap about explicit content is because they have a censorship they have to pass from the government. They don't have the freedom of speech like we do in America. If you say one bad thing about the police, or government, you will probably go to jail.

Yeah i love both lao nai and lao nork hip hop music, but eventually lao hip hop music doesn't make any money on album sale. ppl just download or copy it, and peoples doesn't pay those hip hop for concert or big parties. wasting moneys and talents.
