Origin lao from Mongolea, then move to china (Ai Lao), then move to indochina (Ai Lao), then some group of Ai Lao move to Ayudthaya (Siam) and mix with Kom people. But the origin is still in Swa ( Luangprabang) and Vieng thong. then 12 century, King fangom united Lao group who are the origin Lao (and also some Kom, puan, kamea...) to be Lao Lan xang. so basicly, Thai people is Lao people.

One that may answer is war. we face lot of wars. and since LanXang is a colony of Siamese, Siamese tried to distroy our culture, knowledge, society. you may see some part of Lao history, Siamese has stole many thing and also burn the Capital of us. another thing, since Siamese was taking control of us, Lao has imigreted to be as slave in Bangkok. so it may help u got some idea about how Siamese treated Lao..........

bangkok ppl won't know that you are lao. They will think that you are thai that come from esan.

at least you were luckyer than Thai you were never be deported by force to Burma like Thai. Yes Thai (Ayudthaya, Burmese calls Yodia) was deported by force to Burma and still living in Burma until these days in the name of Yodia people. and do you hear any Thai keep moaning about that?

Lao's history are full of hatred. You hate everyone and everything even American for droped thousand of thousand of bombs on Laos but you ignore the fact that American did it for you they bombed the communist or even French for not developed Laos like you wish they could've done and for spilts Laos in to two pieces one is for Thai and one is for Laos. Even though French helped you from being Thai to not being Thai but you still ungrateful and even though Esan people have a better life than Lao people you can't even happy for them you just want Esan to be suffer likes you Lao in Laos or what? I don't really understand you.

Just don't forget that noone force Lao to ran in to Thailand when communism was chasing your ass. and when your ass are in the third country you pay back by talking **** about Thai and its country and keep spreading bad rumor about how hard being in Thailand but in the same time you never realize that it's way way better than your communist Lao that you were running from which was the reason why you prefer to crossed the river in the first place.

and that's the painful history for Thai to help any ungrateful Lao.

Oh and just one thing I really wanted to say this a long time. When the stunami hits Thailand Lao donated Thai (what? 1 million dollar? 1 million bath? whatever) despite Thai said that we want no money but since Lao really really really wants to show that Lao wants to help so Thai accepted the money and we thank you Lao for that even though after that not even the end of the year Lao asked Thai back to help Lao for hundreds of dollar. If Lao really wants to help Thai like you keep saying you just ask Thai money a bit lesser that would be the real helping Thai. That would suit you better as a Jing Jai people who drink beer Lao "beer Khong Khon Jing Jai".

Why uyou guys care about this too much about that old history. People 100 years ago they still wild and like animal. Hunting and Wars was normal life....
