You gotta be kidding meeeee, Our people die that young!! at 55.89 ? still don't believe it .So How the heck UN do this calcurated about this dead things in Laos. the reason I'm asking is Because when I was a little boy my surrounding neighbors die all the time, and all of them really die old, not as young as UN's statistics. the young die because of the Accident that's it... Wow I'm surprise by this!! and Maybe it truth..
My mother of grandmother was 126 years old while my grandmother was only 75, i think gona live till 80-90 is ok. my next door neighborhood is 105 now he is like a new born baby.
people will live longer than average age 56 in the future due to our histptal and doctor are better. but won't be so long.
now china faces a problem, many oldmen more than 1% of total population, so you know how many Chinese population ?
I think "average" don't mean a lot... less in Laos again than in many countries Some people die young, other very old.... and i thinkin Laos, as many people cannot access good healthcare services, the range between people who die young and the one who die old (because they are really strong, lucky, or rich enough to go to Thailand when they need), is huge... larger than in many more developped countries.
Many babies and young children die in Laos (and also young mothers when they give birth), because of the lack of healthcare... but also some people can live very old because they have healthy way of life and strong body.... this give a low "average"

126????? B.S.!!!!!! I think you guys added one too many birthdays for her. Plus, lao folks doesn't keep or have any birth certificate to proof it anyways. I think that would be the world record if she live til 126... I think the current world record of oldest person living is in Japan. I didnt have time to google it.
