Does anyone know why Lang didn't sing in our Lao accent? My friend Thai was surprised when they listened to it. He said this sounded like a Thai song. What do you think. I speak a little Lao so I don't know. confuse

Not so many Thai people expose to Lao pop music, when they heard the song for the first time, they tend to think that it is very similar to their thai pop, but actually if they listen to it carefully, they will find many parts that are totally different

dude that is straight up how lao sounds like.

jus like the post above said thai are not exposed that much to the lao language so they would not know how similar our languages are.

but i am lao and i hear lao every day their are different accents like north vientiane and south they all sound a lil differetn but the words are all the same. i believe lang is singing in a vientiane accent.

lang is true laos and he is singig and exposing the world to lao pop music.

It's amazing that about 60 percent of normal laos conversation is understandable by thai people but in term of lao pop music, they (thai) understand every words in the song.
