Big time Chinese investor to build 5-star hotel and malls in Laos

As I predict soon the whole country will be build by Chinese master and soon 20 million Chinese will become Lao citizen and soon Lao will be indirectly take over and Chinese master because of greedy corrupted communist party.

35 year ago Laos could live without luxery cars , martial things now we love that things and have Chinese master because we want the mall , the raods , the stadium and sold Laos and betray Lao people . Laos should find the way to build on our own . By taking thing from the Chinese their will own Laos unlike the Japanese and other nation that give aid to Laos.

Sad that Laos could not build on our own . Now no way back to stop the Chinese to do what they please in Laos may be build more Casinos , chop down all the rain forest as they please and build more dam that will flood all the good farm land . Then next build mines and damage all the evoriments and pollution the Mekong river and all land scape.

we should find some way to use the chinese in our favors liek if they wantd to invest in oru land they should help clear the minds first

growth is better then no growth and besides i dont think the chinese will take over

1 ) because i will predict within the next 10 years laos from all over will come back to laos or atleast visit and make it theri second home.
people are only scared because the chinese undoubtably outnumber us. but with the education from laos all over the world the chinese wont have a chance in doing to us what they did to thailand. any ways i say let this happen but with restrictions just let the chinese build enought until the lao return home.

Because Lao Nok just know how to complain, but don't know how to put opportunity to money. They just said they love Laos like this like that, and want to go back to develop Laos when they were dumped in America. Well, by the time they get retired, they will have no power to build Laos, and for my suggestion, better not come to Laos. It is a waste. Let's chinese build laos is better let Lao nork build laos

Most of us Lao nork wanna go back home because they are old and retire, they don't want to involve with any business, politic or what so ever.

Laos look like one province of china, easy for china to investy or build some big hotel, big building..... Now china has much money than USA, believe or not laos will become china, big massage club will be maded in VT like in china !

I am happy that chinese are expresssing interests in Laos. Why be an isolated nation? We are in a globlized economy. I think it's good for the people and for the country that the chinese are willing to invest in Laos. After all, don't Laos need jobs in their own country instead of going to somewhere else for work?

Lao communist pary government are owned by the Chinese master. The Chinese build the Holtels the casino and shopping store and building that doesn't mean Lao own them , the Chinese is the one who own them and profit from them. For Lao people get nothing from them only their puppets ( the communist governments will get million and million dollars in their Swiss and foreign banks). Name one that Lao people benefit from the Holtel and casionos , porno store, destoying almost of the rainforest . The Chinese build studium and Universty and raod for Laos but they own most of every things such Gold mine and almost every business and Lao people own nothing but working as service to serve the Chinese master in the holtel and Casino as maid...etc. Wher are the money from the dam , the land and foreign aid that suppose to develop Laos and helping the poor Lao people? Today they build holtel and casino and shop and store and mines that will polluted the Mekong river .Tomorrow they will build the toxic waste dam and the malitery bsase along Vietnamese border or what ever they please and the communist party will not dare to say a word . So Laos is one of the Chinese province now. The communist party sold Laos to China.

Wait this person seemed to say that Casinos in Lao were built by chinese, but the casino in Savannakhet was built by the coorporation of american not chinese. You are right Lao could not build big things by itself because as they say Lao is a dirt poor country, it means Lao is very poor, but please look at one point....like TAXATION of Lao, how much Lao's government could get the tax from the people, and look and the rich countries how much their revenues in one year....and then you will understand about WHY LAO WERE UNABLE TO BUILD THINGS BY ITSELF.? It's sad , I agree but what else a poor government can do? Many western countries do borrow money to do things and run their countries like USA. The USA also has big debt...so that is the truth.

The United States has debt but the government spend money on the American people on health care , welfare, give aid to Thailand , south Korea, Israel, Egypt, Turkey , Phillipines and other NATO countries around the world. Also spending 600 billion dollars on defenses . But Laos used to live by ourselves for 1000 years no need on the luxery things that will make us become Chinese puppet or Laos no need foreign master so live on what we have .If someone love to help Laos are welcome but don't take too much advantage.

USA wants to do things as its foreign policies is the matter of the USA, it has nothing to do with LAO, LAO is LAO and USA is USA, so don't exaggerate and create fear to lao people because it won't work. Tell me which country in this planet living with out some sort of luxury goods ( TV, Cars, DVD....etc ). I believe Lao government do aware of what is going on to the country. Of course lot of people of Indochina people gave their life to gain independence certainly the leaders of these 3 countries knew what to do....but again because LAO is only a tiny country, so LAO could not escape INFLUENCES from big countries but and then INFLUENCES and RULING by COLONISTS in the past is clearly a different thing, just remind you what they showed on american HISTORY CHANNEL...they told us when the french colonists ruled LAO they sucked out the wealth of the country and gave virtually nothing back to Lao people.
