What should be the best message on Laos T-shirt to cheer for Laos in 25th SEA games?
Here are some of my idea
1) Laos, go for gold 2) Run follow Laos, if you want to be the second 3) Laos Su Su 4) Laos, to be the champion 5) With all our hearts cheer for Laos to be number #1
On the t-shirt it should have a big picture of Sea Games logo with Champi & Champa on the center of a t-shirt and underneath the logo there should be pictures of the flags of all the countries that are in the Sea Games . After all Sea game is about the unity of many countries in Asai that comes to gather to join the competitions of the sports in Laos . This would make all of those contries feel welcome and it would be a nice souvenier for touris and their ethlese to take home with them , because they can see the t-shirt have a picture of their flag on it. oh, I almost forgot there should be a word that said GO LAOS in between Champi & Champa which is above the flags . I will try to post a scatch of a t-shirt later.

These are good ideas but only Lao will buy and you will be missing 80% of your profit.... and please have someone check the grammar. It would also help if you will use the right punctuation marks at the right place.
I like to idea of other people who posted suggestions here. That is to have all the SEA members' flags visible on the design.
BUT, please have several designs made available to make tourist be able to choose. have not less than 8 designs to choose from.
AND please do not give too much emphasis on Lao, like making "Lao flag" always bigger than the others or in evvery design you will put the phrase "go Laos" or "Laos go for gold" because you are not encouraging other nations to buy those shirts. Its Ok to have one or 2 designs like that but not in all designs.
For the designs: have some variety.
* some shirt will have the design printed on the back and then just have a small logo of 2009 SEAG on the upper left front side.
* Have the words SEA Games 2009, Vientianne, Lao PDR that's printed vertically in front at the right or left side. then at the back close to the nape you can have the logo (3" x 3") printed of SEAG printed at the center on the back side about 5" from the nape of the shirt.
* one design could be a mosaic of all the flags of participating countries or a mosaic of all the games that will be played in the SEAG2009.
* one design could have a message printed in front..."Lao PDR, home of the 2009 SEA Games!" then at the back you can have famous Lao tourist spots pirnted. Maybe you can limit to top 6 ot the most top 9 so you can have 2x3 or 3x3 squares where each square features one famous place like the That Luang.
* You can also have a message like "SEA Games... symbol of unity among south east asian nations!" in front of the shirt . Then at the back have all the names of the member countries printed using a signature-like font to signify an agreement to the said message. The names arrangement are random like basketball players writing their signature on fan's shirts.
* have one shirt with only a medium size SEA games logo printed in front. Many prefers simples design especially americans and europeans and some asian nationalities.
PLEASE, consider also having at least 2 polo shirts (shirt with collar) with simple designs: 1. logo of 2009 SEAG 2. words "SEA Games 2009, Vientiane, Lao PDR" that is embroidered (not printed please) at the left breast pocket (or no pocket). Notice that some coaches and athletes and executives prefer to use polo shirt with simple designs to use during out-of-court meetings. Even executives would like to wear polo shirts on Fridays or during informal weekend meetings of when playing golf with friends.
Whenever you make designs please consider that your market are the foreigners.. if you want to earn profit from this event. because foreigners will onlly come once and they need to be impressed with the design and be encouraged to buy. Lao people will remain in Laos after the event and if they miss buying souvenirs they can buy anytime even after right. I expect that the cost of souvenirs will be a little pricey too compared to ordinary days, and it is expected, so do not expect ordinary Laos to spend too much. when you think of souvenir products think of what are saleable to foreigners. No offense to Lao people, but we are talking about business here right and promoting Lao and SEAG right.

Whatever message on those SEA Games t-shirt I'll buy, but please make sure you guys print alot of XL and XXL sizes dair der... I'm big and fat guy, it is so hard for me to find a t-shirts in Laos.. They always print them on smaller sizes.
Actually you can have shirt designs that are: 1. Only promoting Lao like the "I love Lao" on the picture. I find it nice and consider buing one. - THIS WILL BE SOUVENIR FROM LAOS THAT WILL BE PATRONIZED BY BOTH LOCAL AND FALANGS 2. designs that generally promotes the SEA games like to ones mentioned above - THIS WILL BE SOUVENIR FROM THE SEA GAMES THAT WILL BE PATRONIZED BY LOCAL AND FALANGS 3. Designs that cheers Lao athletes - WILL BE PATRONIZED MOSTLY BY LOCALS BECAUSE IT ONLY SUPPORTS LAOTIANS.
