Entertainments sites in Vientiane Capital banned to make noise

(KPL) Restaurants and entertainments sites in Vientiane capital were banned to stop playing loud music at 10 pm because of making noisy and annoying to local people nearby.

Following National Assembly received a complaint through its hotline during NA meeting so a taskforce under the authority of Ministry of Information and Culture has been assigned to responsible for inspecting entertainment places in Vientiane Capital.
All entertainment places should obey the Vientiane Mayor’s order regarding to the limited volume of music.

A restaurant of Khungpao in Naxay village, Setthathirath district, was the first case, banned to playing loud music and annoyed local people nearby, a police officer last week.

This restaurant was complained by villagers recently so the authorities of Naxay village went to inspect and ordered them to stop playing music at 10pm, however it still ignored the ban.

At the moment, a taskforce committee was keeping on eyes limit volume of playing music in all restaurants and entertainments sites in Vientiane.

Bad for business. Move Indoor after 10 pm , and close at 12a.m is better.

 I agree. And to minimize noise and prevent locals from complaining, require all bars to install sound-proofing inside.

Music should be played indoor at night and restaurants and bars should closed at 2 in the morning.

why don't the goverment have the enterteinment seperate the residential. just close everything down and people stop coming to Laos than no more noise.
