Police arrest five traffickers with four kilograms of amphetamine

(KPL) Anti-Drug officials nabbed five amphetamine traffickers in Saythany district of Vientiane Capital on 1 July and they were in possession of four kilograms of amphetamines.

Acting on a trip-off, officials from Anti-Drug Office of Vientiane Capital detained Mr Khemphet Chitvilaphol, 42, Mr Daovon Sitthilath, 40, Mr Ounheun Vongvinisane, 39, Mr Bountham,33 and Ms Buasavai,33.

The Anti-Drug Department of the Ministry of Public Security disclosed this week that the five people are Lao citizens and they live in Vientiane Capital.

This arrest was made possible after plainclothes policemen saw some people stopping their cars and they were exchanging certain things with five people near the new National Stadium for SEA Games and they informed the anti-drugs police about their suspicion.

The anti-drugs police acted and raided their cars and found the amphetamine cache.
After their arrest, they confessed that they were trying to sell their amphetamine tablets to amphetamine addicts in Vientiane Capital.

if it was in thailand. they wold be punished : one tablet for one year in prison. imagine, how many tablets are there in one kg. hehe! poor them, I wouln't be in their shoes for all the gold of this world Amen ! inch Allah !
