Haven't they learned from the past??? It was just few years ago when some actors or actress made a comment about Cambodian people aren't pretty and they all saw the outcome of that event. I'm not saying that our lao people will be buring Thai Embassy or Thai plane. The public relation for this movie start better start apologize quickly, otherwise he will never get to see his thai girlfriend again.

I bet there will be a huge backlash against this guy. As a professional, he should be much more aware of what comes out his mouth, especially considering the fan base of this movie. Even if that is how he truly feels, that comment was completely uncalled for.

Yes!! I'll try to keep you guys update with this story. I just can't believe he is dumb enough to make this kind of comments through the media.

Few years back, Teh (singer/actor) made similar remarks about lao women... how lao women are dirty, ugly, and etc... til this day, his cds still allow to be sold in Laos. The Thais should remember what happened when their actors/actress made similar arrogant comments about Cambodian people. Those Cambodian let the Thais knows they meant business and went on to burn down Thai Embassy/planes in Cambodia.

Although, I do not condone such an act. I dare him to walk around in the street of Vientaine.

It is his personal opinion how he thinks between Laos and Thai girl in term of the beauty and he made a comment that he prefers Thai girl more than Laos. Nothing has to do with racism here on his comment. I don't see anything wrong with that and don't understand why you guys think that he is looking down at Laos people. If I ask Laotian comment between Laos and Thai woman, off course, most of the answer would say Laos women are more beautiful than Thais and vice versa.

To the comment from Mr. SeeHarHed, I think Laos needs to learn from that past not Thailand. The situation happened when the rumor spread out in cambodia that a famous Thai actress gave the comment to the media that ankor wat is belong to Thailand. Without any evidence, any proof when and where that actress addressed that claim, people believe the words from others mouth and turned out to be the battle between two races and Cambodian have to pay for that price from this case.

So, I hope all educated Laos people here use your own judgement open mind base on the reality not by sterotype.

not to long ago, 2 lao students fight 10 thai students, bc of thai students look down on them, racisnm comment on them every day, call them lao ta khao lao stupid, 2 lao students cannot handle it , 2 of them fight 10 thai students, end up in hospital, lao students end up pay 60000bath. many lao student say they deserve it, even pay that money they are happy that they get them.

I can't agree with you more! He's comment is 100% racist eventhough he or some of the dumbasses here don't think so....and of course they are Thai. He's comparing 2 races and he's saying that his race is better than ours. What is that telling you? What makes it even worst is that he's an actor, a celebrity, and he didn't say it at his private home, he said it through media. When you are at the level he's in, you have to watch what you say through the media. Say whatever you want at home with closed doors. You have got to be stupid to say it through media.

There is nothing right about any human being to be rude & mean to another human being. I find that this Thai actor must have born in the darkness of his life day that's why he has a heart of stone . He must have a lot of nerves to say such a thing. Why didn't he use more sense in his words? Bad choice in my opinion. Everyone is beautiful in their own way. This should be a lesson learned for him. I don't think I could ever accept an apology if he decides to apologize. What was said by this man was said. You can't change the fact that he made such a negative comment about our people. I'm the guy who post this TOPIC, TO who ever thinks I'm trying to fuel the problems between Lao/Thai, that's your own opinion... but as the one who post, I just want everyone to know about this SCUM BAG. This is not a big deal. He is an insignificant Thai actor so of course he is always going to say that Thai girls are prettier. That is his market. It is what feed his stomach.
