I don't think it will be too high as in the photo. If as in the picture, it must be a mega project to ever have in Lao. But I don't at this time will happen.

Maybe just an office building with a few storey and a bit modern design that's it.

because we don't have enough fire truckyawn, if the building is too tall, it's worse . there is a fire truck in thakhek, when it occurs the fire, the car goes to Mekong river  to add the water, after finished adding the water, the house is goneno, i can' imagine if the building is taller than 20 floors.

Ok you got a point there. But maybe the engineers and architects who made the plan probably have consideredsuch situation and will incorporate in the design of the building mecahnisms to prevent rapid spread of fire.Meaning to contain it in one floor or one area already considering the current capacity of Lao.

Have you heardabout fire springklers and smoke detectors? Many tall buildings build fire sprinklers in every room and every corner and it is automatically triggered to sprout water once the smoke detector received signs of smoke. THe primary purpose of that is to contain the fire. Plus there should be a lot fo fire extinguisher in all floors.

Oryou may suggest they will install a fire hydrant at the vicinity of the building so that firetruck dont need to go back and forth to Mekong river to fetch water. Im sure planners are smart enough to think about all these things, knowing how progresive Korea is now.

Sojust enjoy when that buillding is indeed erected!

Cheers!
