In Paris you can't build tall building because under the ground is so hollow. There were mine sandstone under the ground. That's what I heard.

Why some people here feel bad when other nationalities share and participate in this site? Don't you like it that others are interested in your site and wanted to share something. Why not be open it and dont always take it as criticism or looking down on Laotians in general. I never looked down on Laotians as a race but I have to say that some people here (regardless of the race) seemed too insecure or narrow-minded.

Why not take those posts as an opportunity to learn new things, instead of taking them as an assault to your ego. How can you be good host to the SEA Games if your attitude is like that?

When the SEA Games start, there will be people coming in from different nationalities, not only from South East Asia because sports dont have a border. Many would be first timer in Laos and not everybody is expected that they would be happy with what they will see in Laos or not. There will be tendency to compare what they see there with other countries, but it doesn't mean that they are looking down on Laos. Dont always take everything personally, please. Because that is just human nature. Even among Lao themselves there is comparisson.. this Lao nai and Lao nork thing, right?

If everybody will just be more understanding and open to new ideas, we could see better discussion and intellectual exchanges here.

****************** I LOVE LAOS ************************

Yeah I agreed with you but the way you posted those topics we can feel that it's nonsense thing and you posted then you wrote your own comments "asking-Answering by your own just try to make your topic pop-up at the main page all the time.

I just feel like you are so ennoying us. I don't hate or look down on dark skin of Cambodian people at all but you knew what I mean?

But you are mistaken. I was not the one who made the post but I did replied to the thread about the models posted by the Cambodian because i feel that some of those models and the fashion style itself deserve some credit. Same way I post my admiration to some of the beautiful Laotian women in the girls zone. You are only making assuptions dear. We are all free to express our admiration to anyone who deserves it regardless of race, creed, nationality, language, color or socio-economic status, right? This forum has a great potential if only used well. Its just disappointing sometimes that a lot of misunderstanding and racism is going on here.

*********** BUT I STILL LOVE LAOS!***********

Those pictures are just projects, but how many of those projects are going to be built is another matter. LAO is not populated country, so don't think too much about high rise buildings. Canberra is the Capital of Australia and in the center of Canberra City, only 10 storey building are allowed to be built not more than that, and believe high rise buildings also have its own problems. Country like France if you owned a big house or villa like the one in LAO that's means you are millionaire, and living in a big house like the one in LAO is far more better than jus a flat in those high rise buildings.

I dont understand Lao so I have to ask my good laotian friend first for a translation. Why do you ask about my nationality? Is it important? Does it surprise you that other nationality can say he love a country aside from his own?

But Paris is so beautiful. Walking through most avenues is like walking through a majestic museum. Every corner is just grand, though theyre not necessarily high rise.

Watches are a beautiful thing. Certainly, they tell us the time - but aren't they so much more than that? replicas watches Through their watches, a person can express so much, and in a way it could be said:replicas watches Show me your watch and I'll tell you who you are.
