I have got goose bump! So proud of these young Lao. Learn as much as you can. Know them, know us is winner. Don't be tired of making friend, someday they'll come in handy. Knowledge is virtual.
It's very nice dance. I was practiced and dance this dancing style in1962 when I was 7 years old in my birth place," MUONG HIEM" Province Luangprabang, is now Muong VIENG THONG Province HuaPhan ( Xamneua ). Name of this dancing style in Lao is " TEN KARM HAO" ( Jump over the bamboo stick ). I'm not sure this tradition dance came from China, Korean, Japan, Vietnam or Laos. Our instructor was a North Vietnamese soldier during Indochina war era. I put this dance behind my memory since we fret our home town "MUONG HIEM" to Vientiane in 1966. Now I'm in U.S.
I would like to say Thank you to the one who's cheer this topic in SAMAKHOM LAO web and bring me back my memory that I left behind for over 47 years. And special thank's to SAMAKHOM LAO web.
, I am sure that laos will be like lao today in the next 100 years, and the wolrd will move on and left this country alone in the dark of underdevelopment. because we just never learned about the real obstacle.
