It's in Ban Phia Wat, Khoun district which used to be the old capital town of Xiengkhouang. I think the town was destroyed in 1960s during the war. Remember the story about the secrete war and bombs? Xiengkhouang was heavily bombed during those years.

Now, there is a community radio called 'Khoun Community Radio for Development' established there, the first community radio in Laos, located not far from this temple.

Yes, you are absolutely right, Wat Phia Wat is one of the oldest temples in XiangKhounag, I have been there before as I have a very good friend from Ban Xang village. This temple is the symbolic of American’s masterpiece of destructive war by following people:

1. Dwight Eisenhower

2. John Kennedy

3. Lyndon Johnson

4. Gerald Ford

5. Richard Nixon.

1959 – 1975 (16 years)

When was the last time you went there? There are very few Vietnamese people living in Xiengkhouang. There are more and more Chinese businessmen coming to town though.

Watches are a beautiful thing. Certainly, they tell us the time - but aren't they so much more than that? replicas watches Through their watches, a person can express so much, and in a way it could be said:replicas watches Show me your watch and I'll tell you who you are.
